Anticipation
I have no idea what this flower is, but I like the feeling of light that seems to emanate from it. I also like what one critic wrote about the photograph: The finger of nature, reaching toward the infinite, and emphasized by Ronile’s use of contrasting colors, alludes to man’s desire to harness the spiritual force of the material world.

The dramatic interplay of light and dark, complimentary vs. contrasting color harmonies and the effusive diffused sharpness of this image are inspired. The artist has masterfully captured and effectively conveyed meaning and substance through an integrated approach in which photographic skills and technique are highly evident. Interpretive disdain and emotive resolve combine to entice and distract the viewer - ultimately leading to conclusive concurrence as to the beauty of this image.
